Adult SEL
We lead an engaging, interactive session with educators to share the research behind Sown To Grow, strategies to launch with students, and tactical guidance to set up in the software. Teachers will walk out of the session with their first reflection cycle ready to go in the platform and a lesson plan on how to kick off with students.
Session 1: The “Why”
In the first session, we meet with principals/school leaders to ground ourselves in the “why” of adult SEL capacity-building. Participants will leave with a plan to administer the Sown To Grow SEL Survey to all adults and students in their building.
Session 2: Intro to District Data
In the second session, we meet with district principals/leaders to review adult and student survey results from the district level, sharing initial impressions and trends through a data “deep dive” activity and planing session.
Session 3: Intro to School Data
In the third session, we reconvene with district principals/leaders to review adult and student survey results at the school level. Leaders develop data-informed action plans and next steps to take back to their school community.
Session 4: Intro to Classroom Data
In the final session, we meet with district principals/leaders for the last time to review classroom-level data to inform MTSS structures, practices, and interventions and how to best support teachers at a Tier 1 level.
